Full-service, family-run firm puts their trust in Worldpay

In business since 1986, Pacific Windows is a proud, full-service, family-run double-glazing firm that serves the Kent area of England and provides a complete line of windows, doors, soffits, fascias and roofing products for residential, commercial and conservatory uses.

According to Jo Sanders, accounts and administrations manager at Pacific Windows, the payments challenge the company faced with a previous provider included old machines that were not very fast and also couldn’t be moved around the office and showroom. Their costs changed frequently, so they also needed better and more transparent pricing to simplify budgeting.

A switch to Worldpay

After meeting with Worldpay, Pacific Windows made the decision to change their payment processing partner.

SaferPayments eases PCI DSS compliance process

Pacific Windows relies on the Worldpay SaferPayments program for help with the mandated Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS).

The PCI DSS is a set of global industry security requirements that provide a baseline of technical and operational standards designed to ensure that all organizations that accept, process, store or transmit credit card information – regardless of size or processing volume – maintain a secure environment and protect all payment data.

SaferPayments includes access to Worldpay’s specific, web-based SaferPayments portal, telephone, email and chat support six days a week, periodic email reminders about maintaining compliance, pre-population of up to 90% of a customer’s specific PCI DSS self-assessment questionnaire (SAQ) if using certain Worldpay products and more.

Jo and team also use the Worldpay Dashboard to access a complete view of their business and payments activity, allowing them to interact with assorted information and data in real time – from card sales to settlements and invoices.
