Growing firm looks to Worldpay for guidance and innovation

According to Liron Raz, head of finance and corporate development, at Wix, it's important for the company to have a payments system in place so that anyone in any country at any time can go and subscribe to a Wix service offering.

"Data is the most important thing in the world," he asserts. "We have a lot of transactions from all around the globe, so we need a payments company that is innovative ─ a company that will be able to present us with new ideas all the time."

Wix started working with Worldpay several years ago, Liron said, after they searched for a payments partner that would help provide them with the ability to expand.

"Worldpay has a very, very good perspective on global markets in general, and the European market in particular," he says. "There is no one answer or one single solution regarding payments for all the countries we operate in. So, with Worldpay's help, we conduct research and try to tailor a very specific solution for each country and determine which way the average customer prefers to pay ─ and then meet that requirement."
